Knee injuries are common in car accidents. There are many factors that come into play in valuing the injuries. Sometimes, there injury are solely treated with therapy and there is almost complete resolution of pain. Other times, arthroscopic surgery is needed. In a simple knee injury with therapy, the medical bills may be lower than $5,000 whereas if the client needs one surgery, just the cost of the surgery may exceed $25,000.00. Further, if the client has health insurance, those medical bills may be contractually reduced by 50 percent or more and, on the other hand, if someone does not have health insurance, all of the medical bills may be due and owing.
